Our Story

My company was created as a sideline to my fulltime career, from the need to create a healthier candle, born out of very real concerns surrounding the  impact paraffin candles had on the environment and on my family's health and on the environment.

​​My background is far removed from candles, having been an NHS nurse since I was 16, the latter 24 years as an ICU nurse. In 2021 I retired from the NHS after 38 years, and candle making became my full time job

​​​Our fragrances are all Phthalates  and Paraben free and are suitable for vegans.

​​Our wicks are made from cotton and supported with linen stability threads. We have no additives, dyes or glittery bits and all of our outer packaging is 100% recyclable.  Our labels are 100% paper, our jars and tins are reusable. 

​Our diffusers incorporate a plant based diffuser oil and the same carefully blended eco-friendly fragrances as used in our candles, with natural reeds and recyclable packaging. 

We work really hard to bring our customers, expertise and quality, whilst at the same time providing excellent and competitive value for money.
